Southern California Collegiate and Alumnae members will gather to celebrate Founders’ Day with a luncheon in San Diego on April 23, 2022.

We’re so excited to host Southern California Founders’ Day 2022! The luncheon theme is “Once More United” in celebration of 125 years of AOII.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A DATE CHANGE!!!

Due to COVID-19, the event has been rescheduled from 2/26 to 4/23. Please contact us at info@sandiego.org if you are unable to make the date change.

We will be Once More United after more than a year apart. We want this event to speak to you and your AOII experience and we want to create an event where you can reconnect with sisters you know and meet new sisters.

The Founders’ Day program is designed to be interactive instead of having a featured speaker. In Southern California, Founders’ Day is planned by an alumnae chapter in conjunction with AOII Southern California Council (SCC). All the alumnae and collegiate chapters from Ventura County (North) to San Diego County (South) come together for this annual event.

Registration is online here. Please disregard any errors with the old date of 2/26. The correct date of the luncheon is 4/23.

The luncheon will be held at Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station. We have a block of rooms if you use this link. Reserve by 3/22.

We want this luncheon to be meaningful to you where you can reconnect with sisters you know plus meet new sisters. There will be interactive options (while following current COVID precautions) during the event. Come celebrate your sisterhood with local AOIIs!

As the nation’s largest holiday walk/run event, the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis offers a three-mile fun run and a three-mile fun walk with activities for the entire family. Participants tie jingle bells to their shoelaces, don festive holiday costumes and join friends and neighbors in support of the Arthritis Foundation’s mission. Participants can run or walk in honor of a friend or family with arthritis, or to show that they are taking control of their arthritis. The local AF chapter is recruiting volunteers for the Jingle Bell Run/Walk.
